“[flipping through a law book] land, land…”Land: see Snatch.” Ah, Hailie vs. United States. Hailie: 7, United States: nothing. You see, it can be done!”

In memory of Harvey Korman who died recently at the age of 81.
UPDATE; A nice article in the LA Times about Korman’s comedic talent.

It doesn’t get much better than Blazing Saddles. I watched it again yesterday.
Of course Harvey Korman was a regular on the Carol Burnett Show, too, with Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence… get a load of this:

Pam, thanks for that link. Korman was famous for making Carol Burnett bust up laughing out of character in their sketches.
Got me thinking about how many sketch / variety shows used to be on TV: Jackie Gleason, Dean Martin, Red Skelton, Sid Ceasar, Smothers Brothers, et al. TV has definitely changed in that regard.
