One of my favorite TV series is “Homicide: Life on the Street”. And one of my favorite baseball movies is The Natural (1984). Writer-director Barry Levinson was involved in both, directing The Natural and an E.P. on “Homicide.”
As a writer, Levinson has credits that stretch all the way back to variety-comedy TV shows like “The Carol Burnett Show” in 1967 and “The Tim Conway Show” in 1970. Movie writing credits include …And Justice For All (1979), Diner (1982), Tin Men (1987), Avalon (1990), and Sleepers (1996).
This is an interview Levinson did on “The Charlie Rose Show”.
