Believe it or not, but Mickey Mouse turns 80 today! Technically, he appeared in two other animated shorts before Steamboat Willie (1928), but that is the movie which jump-started Mickey's 'career.'You can go here to see Mickey and his friends. Amazing to see how many movie and TV projects Mickey has been involved in over the years - also lawsuits.
And speaking of Disney, my favorite Disney movie of all time? Animation: Toy Story 2 (1999). Live action: Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003).

Tron and The Black Hole, but, if we're talking the proper Disney canon, then it would be the underrated The Arisocats.
