A number of the video interviews on this site are with filmmakers known primarily for their directing, but also as it turns out includes screenwriting. Brian De Palma is one of those talents. While he has directed such notable movies as Carrie (1976), Scarface (1983), Casualities of War (1989), and Mission Impossible (1996), he has written and directed a number of movies including Dressed to Kill (1980), Blow Out (1981), Body Double (1984), and Femme Fatale (2002).
This interview is yet another one from the fantastic British series “Scene-by-Scene” and features De Palma providing insight into a number of his movies as well as his creative process.
