Most people associate Martin Scorcese with the many great movies he’s directed including Taxi Driver (1976), The Last Waltz (1978), Raging Bull (1980), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), and the movie for which he finally won the Best Director Academy Award The Departed (2006). But he’s also a screenwriter with credits such as Mean Streets (1973), Goodfellas (1990), and Casino (1995).
Here is the entire episode of the wonderful TV series “Scene-by-Scene” where Scorcese talks about many great movie moments. Enjoy!

Thank you, Scott.
Your website is accumulating such a monstrous amount of material it will take months to go through it all.
Thanks again.
M.
Scorsese.
Thanks for the clips.
Marco, one of the points of this blog is to aggregate as much relevant content about screenwriting for screenwriters as possible, to serve as a resource for inspiration and ideas.
