I’m going off with my family for the next 10 days. I’ve scheduled some posts and will drop by from time to time, but good to get away and recharge the batteries.
Traffic on the blog has grown considerably over the last three months and it occurred to me that the many newer GITS visitors might enjoy seeing some ‘blasts from the past’ posts. So I’ve included some of those on the schedule while I’m away, too.
Remember: Writing equals butt on chair.
Peace!

A nice vacation to you and the family !!!
M.
Hope you have a GREAT vaccation. You will be missed. Glad to hear you're a family guy who does stuff with your family. That's important.
Wish I was better at that. One of the biggest drawbacks of being a writer amidst a family of non-writers is the fact my head's almoast always off in the clouds, while my famlily's interests are more grounded in the the realities and practicalities of the here and now.
Basically, I don't do enough family socializing. And I find that even when I do TRY to tell my family what I'm doing usually there's a gulf between us.
But back to you, Scott. Going on vaccation with your family — and enjoying it right?! You're a better man than I. I tip my hat to you.
Sincerly,
E.C. Henry from Bonney Lake, WA
P.S. I thought you were teaching a UCLA extention class this summer. So how does your vacation schedule jive with that?
Safe travels to you and your family.
