Where is Whit Stillman? We need his great voice and vision making movies! The early-mid nineties gave us Whit and Noah Baumbach, responsible for the amazingly simple and astute "Kicking & Screaming."
I asked the same thing. His latest is Little Green Men, an adaptation of a Christopher Buckley novel. But it's been 11 years since The Last Days of Disco. Far too long.
You got me excited. But he didn't even write the script?!? ARGH!
I met Mr. Stillman two years ago at a dinner party. Super nice guy, with a lovely daughter and lots of wonderful insight. Hope to see his next project come to fruition.
