Wow, only one period piece.
These all seem to be very heavy dramas, which makes me think they'll probably be released in the fall of next year as Oscar bait.
I'm very much looking forward to "The Fighter" with Bale and Wahlberg. Ryan Gosling is a very interesting choice for a movie like "127 Hours". It'll be interesting to see his performance.
I suppose it was inevitable, but why oh why is Hollywood remaking "Let the right one in"? That movie got everything right: atmosphere, character dynamics, compelling plot, boundary-pushing sexuality and violence. What's the point, really?
JD - I am with you on that. But most Americans don't want to "read" movies.
