Remembering "The Wire"

Even though the final episode aired on March 9, 2008, I still miss "The Wire" -- best damn show ever on TV. So here you go with a choice video: "The Wire: 5 Seasons in 5 Minutes."

i almost wish i'd never come across this show. everything else pales in comparison, even the almighty homicide.

Wow, this one completely slipped under my radar. I know OF it but had no idea that it was quality material.

Well, off to load up the Netflix queue I guess.

I think they changed the cops and robbers show forever.
It showed you don't need car chases if you have colorful characters. Heck, in five years there were less than 10 people shot and killed.

I've just finished the Fifth season a few days ago, and I still can't believe I won't see another season of that awesome show.
It dethroned Twin Peaks from the position of best TV show ever in my personal list.
The storytelling and the characters in this show are so compelling. I can't wait to watch Simon's next show set in New Orleans!
