Yesterday we featured Zombie Girl: The Movie, a documentary about then 12 year-old Emily Hagins who wrote the screenplay and directed a full-length feature film called Pathogen. Today we feature Emily’s second feature film called The Retelling:

And we know from the Q&A with Zombie Girl: The Movie producer Aaron Marshall that Emily has just finished her 3rd screenplay. Honestly, Emily’s story is one of the best things I’ve heard in a long, long time.
This is honestly, one of the best stories I have read in a long time. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention. I suspect we will be seeing big things from Emily in the future.
She doesn't need film school. She's already in it.
She just needs to keep making stuff.
DV production is cheap; film school isn't.
WOW! I had not heard of Emily; very impressive indeed. Will certainly be watching this when it comes out and need to watch Pathogen.
