Since we're on the topic of HBO episodic TV, y'all could do a lot worse than checking out this new show called "BORED TO DEATH" with Schwartzman.
I've only seen eps 1-3 but so far, very good writing. Nevermind that I was writing a pilot about a detective who uses Craig's List to trawl for clients (grrrrr... unwittingly jacked again!) but still... impressed thus far!
Just started watching the Wire from all the GITS and friends buzz.. so far awesome, it's like a more involved Law and Order. McNulty is fascinating to watch, definitely a different approach than a Jack Bauer from 24 type character.
