With these two actors how can you go wrong? Exquisite.
I remember the first time I watched this scene. I remember an overwhelming feeling – that I wanted Aragorn to kiss him on the forehead. I remember thinking if that doesn't happen I'll hate PJ forever. And when Aragon did kiss him, the sobs just flowed. And I knew I was in hands I could trust. Dumb, eh? But that's how I felt.
There is something so generous about delivering to the audience tiny, perfect moments.
