Another Movie You Made: “Aquarius of Hearts,” written & directed by UCSB student Cameron Alexander. Cameron had this to say about his movie:
The film was made last January, 2009–shot one day and no budget. There were only a total of 2 people working the tech side of the entire film–me directing/writing and Patrick Lawler the DP/editor/producer/composer. All locations are at Montana de Oro, a state park in California on the central coast. The girl in the film unfortunately got the beginning stages of hypothermia–but luckily we were able to get her out of the freezing water before anything bad happened.
Here is “Aquarius of Hearts”:
If you have any comments or questions for Cameron, post them here.
Also if you have a full-length movie or short film that you wrote, directed, produced and/or acted in, and would like me to promote it on GITS, post background info and link here, or email me:

Same time tomorrow for more Movies You Made!

Great work Cameron; I was really impressed on all accounts. Hats off to Patrick and the actors as well.
Nice touch Cameron. I was really impressed by the visuals. Am curious, what camera did you use and did you color the footage afterwards?
Great concept and beautiful cinematography. I'd also love to know what camera and post production enhancements were utilized.
Thanks for all the great comments everyone!
@ Steven & Scriptwrecked: The camera we used was a Panasonic HVX with a nikon lens adapter. We also color corrected and played with all the footage in post. The DP can tell you more about the extensive details if you're curious to know anything more– http://www.vimeo.com/patricklawler he also just got done filming a new cinematography reel called "look at me" that got featured on the Vimeo staff page–check it out if you're interested in camera stuff, he knows a TON about that kind of thing.
