GITS reader Greg Colburn emailed me this question and I couldn’t think of any:
Are there many movies that have multiple characters using Voiceover or Interior Monologue?I can think of “What Women Want” where Mel Gibson could hear what female characters were thinking. The TV series “True Blood” uses that technique with Sookie.
How about you?

Thin Red Line is a brilliant example of multiple voice over. Beautiful.
Oh and I think Casino plays a lot with multiple voice overs.
Sin City.
I think the Watchman split VO duties between Rorschach and the Blue Man Group.
I believe the original Dune movie played around with multiple interior monologues, in an attempt to be faithful to the best parts of the novel.
Not a movie, but neither is True Blood, Scrubs is known to deviate from JD's monologues to the other character's thoughts from time to time.
Kind of off topic, but I found it amusing to hear George Burns doing voiceover in Solid Gold Cadillac on TCM last night. The VO sticks out for me as a screenwriter now, partly with a bit of a bias against its use.
As usual, GITS readers pull through. You're great!
The Many Deaths Of Barnaby James uses it sparingly to open and close out sequences. Each one a different protagonist.
Goodfellas …
Thanks to all for your comments,
