I think I figured this out! Rob Fuller is to GITS what Kent Jones is to “The Rachel Maddow Show”:
Now that we’ve got that settled, onto this week’s edition of Rob’s Finds where today Rob answers that question we’ve all been waiting to be answered with bated breath: Will Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence do a drag comedy movie? The answer? Yes!
We heard it but we didn’t believe it. Two black men in drag resurrecting their 90s characters for an action movie. You could get mad or you could enjoy it. I laughed at both characters growing up. Hopefully I will be able to enjoy them as a grown up. Jamie Foxx says he wrote the script and it will have Wanda and Sheneneh.
In case you have zero idea what Rob is talking about, check this out:
BTW, The Urban Daily has this list: Bad Meaning Good: The Best Black Movie Villains:
Not only is it more fun to play the bad guy in a movie, it seems to pay more dividends. Monique has won a Golden Globe for her role in Precious as the abusive mother, Mary, and Denzel won his first Best Actor Oscar playing a villain in Training Day. The last time a Black actor won an award for being nice on screen was Jennifer Hudson winning Best Supporting Actress for Dream Girls (2006), Jamie Foxx for Ray and Morgan Freeman for Million Dollar Baby in 2004. While I’m sure many of you reading this can quote the crooked cop Alonzo line for line, I doubt most folks can remember one thing that “Eddie Scrap-Iron Dupris” said in that boxing gym.
Here are 2 of their top ten:
Bishop, Juice

Played by: Tupac Shakur
Tweet this: “You gotta get the ground beneath your feet, partner, get the wind behind your back and go out in a blaze if you got to!”
Jules Winnfield, Pulp Fiction
Played by: Samuel L. Jackson

Tweet this: “Say ‘what’ again! Say ‘what’ again! I dare you, I double dare you motherfucker, say what one more Goddamn time!”

This next item is a grand slam find by Mr. Fuller: “Bizarre Hand Drawn Movie Posters”:
Temporary cinemas became common in Ghana in the 80s because of the video cassette technology. When “mobile cinema” operators traveled from town to town creating these temporary cinemas, they needed movie posters in order to promote the movies. They hired artists were given totally freedom to paint the posters as they wanted, some of them didn’t even watch the movies, and that is why the result was interesting and bizarre movie posters, mostly of horror and trash action movies.
A few examples:

Personally I think Steven Seagal never looked so good!
But wait! Rob one-ups himself on the weird movie poster front with this: “When Movie Posters Go Avatar”:
When mega blockbuster “Avatar” mixes up with famous Hollywood movies then you can imagine some real fun. Human imagination has unlimited faces and pictures to capture and think about. Actual development of Avatar started from 1994, when Cameron started writing an 80 page script of the movie. The movie was supposed to release after Cameron’s 1997 movie “Titanic” , but according to the director the technology at that time was not yet available to portray his vision of work.

Lest you think Rob is a lightweight in the intellect department, he leaves us with a thought for the day:
A writer is someone who can make a riddle out of an answer.
– Karl Kraus
The biggest riddle of all — how the hell does Rob burrow up such weird stuff?

Ha…Kent Jones, that's a good one.
