Today’s video interview is with writer-director Jim Jarmusch. His credits include Stranger Than Paradise (1984), Coffee and Cigarettes (1986), Down by Law (1986), Mystery Train (1989), Night on Earth (1991), Ten Minutes Older: The Trumpet (2002), and Broken Flowers (2005).
I think Down By Law is my favorite Jarmusch film. What’s yours?

Yeah "Down By Law" is probably as good as it gets.
"Dead Man" totally blew my mind as well. One reviewer commented once that it was as if someone had taken a time machine and dropped a movie camera in the old west. Pretty accurate.
I don't think I've ever seen any film before or since that looked and "felt" like "Dead Man."
Hm, it's weird. "Ghost Dog" was the first Jarmush I saw and I've seen all his movies that came out since then. But I stangely never went back to catch his older movies. I always wanted to but somehow I never did.
But out of the movies I saw I think the first one "Ghost Dog" is the one I love the most.
He always uses music in such a great way. The soundtracks are constantly "ear-openers" to realms of music that I would otherwise never have entered.
Gotta go now and rent "Down By Law" and "Dead Man"
I scream, you scream, we all SCREAM for ICE CREAM!!!
